Shadowed Steel

Welcome to Shadowed Steel - My first Game Jam Game. The game itself is about a 10 minute experience. Building this game has taught me a lot about myself and the things I still don't know. I wanted to see this project to completion, without the use of YouTube or Udemy videos. While I'm not 100% happy with the outcome of the project, I am happy with what I've been able to accomplish on my own and now know what I need to work on.

Kill enemies, find a way out.

You have a sword and shield. The sword is sentient. It requires blood to keep it satisfied. If it becomes unsatisfied, it will sheath itself and refuse to be drawn for 20 seconds.  The more you use the sword, the stronger it becomes(indicated by the sword icon). Upon becoming unsatisfied, you lose this bonus.

The shield can be used while the sword is sheathed as an impromptu weapon. While the sword is drawn, the shield can be used to block.

Press "P" for the Pause Menu
Press "R" to draw/sheath your sword.
Press "2" to equip/unequip your shield.
WASD Movement, the mouse controls the camera.
